Muhsan

Chastity. Legal concept describing the personal status of an individual who is free (not a slave) and who either has never committed an act of illicit intercourse or has consummated a lawful marriage to a free partner. In the latter case, the person is subject to the sentence of death by stoning if he or she commits adultery.
