All-India Mohammedan Educational Conference

Forum organized from 1886 through 1937 by Sayyid Ahmad Khan to promote modern education among Muslims and Muslim nationalism geared toward separation from India. Opposed to the All-India National Conference. Eventually gave rise to the All-India Muslim League, which spearheaded the movement for the creation of Pakistan.
